Before you apply
Thank you for your interest in renting a Legacy Key property. Please review the qualification requirements below before submitting an application.
All prospective occupants age 18 or older must complete a separate rental application and meet the established qualification criteria.
Applicants must provide documentation sufficient to verify household income and the ability to meet the financial obligations of the lease. Acceptable documentation may include recent pay stubs, employment verification, tax documentation, bank statements, benefit statements, or other verifiable documentation, as applicable.
Applicants will be screened using consistent rental qualification standards, which may include verification of:
Applicants with a prior eviction, an active bankruptcy, outstanding balances owed to a previous landlord/property management company, or outstanding past-due utility balances may not qualify.
Rental history may be verified with current and/or previous housing providers. Applicants should provide accurate contact information for rental-history verification when requested.
Meeting the minimum qualification criteria does not guarantee approval. Applications are evaluated according to Legacy Key's established screening standards and any property-specific requirements. Applicants may be required to provide additional documentation necessary to complete the screening and verification process.
Incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable information may delay processing or affect an application's eligibility.
A maximum of two approved pets is permitted when pets are allowed at the individual property.
All pets are subject to approval and any property-specific restrictions.
Breed, size, and other pet restrictions may apply based on the individual property owner's requirements and/or applicable insurance restrictions.
Applicants may be required to provide information about each pet as part of the approval process.
Assistance animals are not considered pets and are handled separately in accordance with applicable Fair Housing laws. Pet fees, pet rent, and general pet breed restrictions do not apply to an assistance animal solely because of its breed.
